Creating some Tropical Sunshine on a Grey Day!

 Creating some of the tropics in my coastal home this afternoon!

A gorgeous and vibrant image to enhance my colourful mood!

I tried to create a pocket of bright tropical colours in a corner of my home today and it did the job of cheering me up on this very grim and grey day on the Mornington Peninsula. It was a blah sky above all day today but it was nice and cosy inside! Snuggle up and keep cosy tonight!

Adding some Glamour to my Cockatoo lamp!

I adore my Cockatoo lamp and this afternoon a had a bit a fun arranging some of my many bits and pieces around my Cockatoo lamp. I thought she needed a bit of glamour so I placed my coral coloured necklace around her neck which I got  from Sportsgirl a few weeks ago! (they also have a great range of scarves). Every time I wear it I get so many compliments and it was such an inexpensive piece. It adds such a pop of colour to any outfit.

Flamingo Girls

We love Pink Flamingos!

Look at my vintage purchase for my new Coastal home!... A house warming present to myself!

We've always loved flamingos and I was so excited when I came across this retro vase the other week. I haven't had time to fill it with fresh cut flowers but a mini pink geranium fits the 'bill' perfectly for the moment. Hee hee!
